Damien Lehfeldt is Chair of the Board of Directors for USA Fencing. USA Fencing recently disqualified a female fencer because she refused to fight a trans opponent.

As reported by Fox News Digital, “Stephanie Turner made the decision not to compete against trans athlete Redmond Sullivan at the Cherry Blossom Open in Maryland. Instead, she decided to take a knee. The referee dealt Turner a black card, which represents the most severe penalty in the sport. She told Fox News Digital she was then escorted out of the event and was made to sign a document acknowledging the penalty.”

According to Congressman Brandon Gill, Damien Lehfeldt, has a long, ugly record of smearing parents who dare to oppose men in their daughters’ sports. In a now-deleted Instagram post, he responded to a concerned parent by writing, “The only wizard that’s going to dig you out of the myopic hole you’ve put yourself and your family in is one of the ‘grand wizard’ variety.” The comment invoked the title historically used by leaders of the Ku Klux Klan.

USA Fencing supports disqualifying women who refuse to compete against biological men, and as Chair of the Board of Directors for USA Fencing, Damien Lehfeldt does as well.
